Hi, I’m Leah — the hands, heart, and rainbow-loving soul behind Dottisaurus 💕 Thank you so much for visiting!

I’ve been sewing since school and went on to earn an A-Level and a Foundation Diploma in Fashion & Textiles. But it was becoming a mum that truly stitched together my love for design, parenting, and play. Like many new and expectant mums, I became increasingly aware of the environmental cost of everyday essentials. I wanted to parent with sustainability in mind — choosing cloth nappies and buying organic or second-hand clothing wherever I could.

In 2018, I started creating clothes for my little Dottie, and Dottisaurus grew from there! Every item is handmade by me using soft, durable organic cotton. Our fabrics are knitted and printed right here in the UK, using an eco-friendly process with zero water waste, no harsh chemicals, and no extra air miles. We’re proud to support other small British businesses along the way.

Our designs are made with comfort and practicality in mind — roomy enough for cloth nappies, gentle for baby-wearing, and free from fiddly fastenings. We’re huge fans of colour and believe kids’ clothes should reflect the magic of childhood: bold, comfy, and ready for movement, cuddles, and muddy puddles 🌧️🌞

I’m a home ed mum to two wild and wonderful children, and we spend our days exploring nature, being creative, and embracing the mess. When I’m not sewing or adventuring, you’ll find me watching musicals (stage or screen — I’m not picky!), dreaming of our next Disneyland trip, or soaking in all things rainbow 🌈
